Privacy & your data
This policy explains data use on the VERBLITH introduction website and the private The First Echo lab. It describes the features available in the current test version.
Your account and game save are separate. Google identifies your account. Prompts and lab progress remain in your browser and are not synced to your account.
01 — Scope and operator
This policy covers the introduction website at www.verblith.com and the game at verblith.com. Game access remains restricted. Having a Google account does not automatically grant access to the test.
The operator and contact for data requests are listed below. The introduction website has no registration form or game-prompt submission form.
02 — Signing in with Google
When you choose Google sign-in, Google and Supabase process identity information, including your account identifier, email, name, and basic profile information supplied by Google. This is used to create or find your account, authenticate your session, display your name and email, and protect your account.
Supabase stores your account record. Session cookies may contain tokens and profile metadata returned by the service, such as a profile-image URL, even though the game displays only your name and email. The game does not fetch your Google profile image for display.
This sign-in flow does not request access to Gmail, Google Drive, or contacts. Google account data is not used for advertising, sold, or used to train game AI models.
03 — Prompts and device-local saves
The game stores accepted prompts, timestamps, interpretation results, progress, energy, and saved evidence in your browser on the game domain. Language, display, and sound preferences are stored separately so you can continue playing with your chosen settings.
The current version interprets prompts using rules on your device. It does not send prompts to an AI provider or upload your game save to Supabase. A different device, browser, or domain does not automatically receive the same save.
Backup export and import take place in your browser. Backup files contain prompt text, timestamps, and evidence; you choose where to keep or share them. If you enable a compatible browser assistant, it may read field status or submit a prompt and receive a new result through tools provided by the game. That assistant processes information under the policies of the service you choose.
05 — Service providers
Necessary information is processed through the following services for their respective purposes. Processing may occur in countries where those providers operate.
We do not sell personal data or send Google account data to an AI game master. No live AI game master is active in the current version. If you email us, we use your message and contact details to handle your request.
- Google — identity verification and profile information you authorize
- Supabase — accounts, sessions, and authentication audit logs
- Sites and Cloudflare — website hosting, access controls, operational and security logs
- Cloudflare Email Routing and Gmail — forwarding and storage of messages sent to our contact address so our team can handle your request and reply
06 — How long data remains
Device-local saves and preferences remain until you clear website data or your browser removes them. Resetting the lab replaces the lab save only; it does not remove all preferences, account cookies, or downloaded backup files.
Account records remain until account deletion is carried out. There is currently no automatic cleanup of inactive accounts. Security logs, service backups, and support correspondence can have different retention periods according to operational needs and the relevant providers’ policies. Signing out does not immediately erase every copy of information.
07 — Manage or request deletion
You can export a backup from the Ledger, reset the lab from the guide, or clear website data in your browser settings. Manage downloaded backups separately on your device. Signing out clears game cookies in that browser; it does not delete your Supabase account or sign you out of Google.
To request access, correction, or deletion of an account and information we control, email the contact below from the email associated with your account. Describe your request without sending passwords, tokens, or secret keys. We may need to verify your identity before acting to prevent someone else from changing or deleting your information.
Account deletion is handled by the operator; the game has no automatic delete-account button yet. If some information must be retained, we will explain its scope and the reason when handling your request. Account deletion does not erase local saves or backup files on your devices.
08 — Changes to the service
We will update this policy before enabling features that materially change data use, such as cloud saves, a shared multiplayer world, or AI prompt processing, and request consent where required. The revision date is shown on this page.
